Pleasant View has lost starting pitcher Joe Unknown for at least 7 months. He was hurt in a game against the Honeybees while throwing a pitch and sustained a torn bicep muscle. His doctors said Unknown will probably be out the rest of the year.

| Tuesday, July 30th, 2019: Hacienda Heights Halts García's Hitting Steak
His 20-game hitting streak is over. Francisco García failed to get a hit today against the Hacienda Heights Legends and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 23-year-old Gadgets second baseman went 0-for-3 in his club's 6-2 victory over the Hacienda Heights at Gadgets Ballpark.
So far this year García is batting .303 with no home runs.

| Monday, July 29th, 2019: García Has 20-Game Hitting Streak
Today Francisco García went 2-for-4 in the Pleasant View Gadgets 7-0 victory over the Hacienda Heights Legends. This extended his hitting streak to 20 games. García declined to comment for the media immediately after the game.
F. García singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th.
García is hitting .305 this year with no home runs, 38 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 113 hits in 370 at-bats, 18 walks and a .336 on-base percentage. García has played in 105 games.
