| Breaking News |  | Thursday, September 19th, 2019: Rochester's Bellemare Gets Outstanding Pitcher Award 22-year-old Charles Bellemare of the Rochester Millers put together a good year in 2019 for such a young player. Bellemare was named today as the winner of the Sub League 2 Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Bellemare crafted an impressive 22-5 record and a 1.55 ERA. In 238 innings he allowed 146 hits, struck out 162, and walked 42. |  | Thursday, August 8th, 2019: 5-6 Day for Hughes Ed Hughes of the Sirens was unstoppable in today's 12-9 victory over the Rochester Millers at Sirens Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Redmond catcher after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will."
E. Hughes singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off J. García in the 9th.
On the season, Hughes is batting .274 with 6 home runs and 38 RBIs.
